Welcome to the Suburbs, Cesca LaRaque!

From as far back as I can remember I always wanted to be in fashion.  The word fashion comes lightly but can mean so many different things.  By definition, fashion is a way of doing things.  In the real world, it’s all around us.  As for me, I’m a Jersey girl (born & bred), with vast international experience, holding a style all her own.Cesca-about-me-1

To me fashion became my purest form of self-expression; how a person views themselves and how they approach the world can be told by how they dress. For me, everyday is different (although I rarely even wake up without a smile) and I wish to convey that in my attire.

If I had to choose, my style would be classified as having a sultry edge – but I hate to feed into categories.  “If you like it, wear it!” is my motto.  No one ever got noticed by doing things they way it’s always been done. And this can be seen in my style, always bending the rules and hopefully inspiring others to do the same.

Currently I would describe myself as a numbers junkie with adoration with all things artistic. I have an International Business MBA from London and majored in Finance at Seton Hall University, both of which lead me to crunch analytics by day and letting out my creative flair by night. I’m ecstatic for you to see New York City, through my eyes, from a very unique perspective.  Accompanied by a bottomless stomach, I’ll be eating, shopping, and drinking my way through NYC.  Not for the faint-hearted, I’m excited for you to come along this journey with me.
