Fashion is something that I have always been interested in since I was a little girl. It allows you to show your creative side, as well as your personality, through clothing. However, it is a little difficult as a college student having to pay all of the expenses that come with school and have a great fashion sense that you can afford (but I am here to help you!)

Even if I haven’t gone shopping in a while, I can always go in my closet, pull out a few things, and create a whole new outfit that I absolutely love! It’s all about how you shop and what you can create!

I would describe my style as being trendy, but still very unique because I don’t like sticking to one style; I love being a creative individual and learning new things through fashion every day. I can go to class in a cute, simple sundress with accessories and flats to match, and then pair a bold colored dress and blazer with black pumps for business attire, and then pair high-waisted leggings with a bandeau, and a snapback for a relaxed day.

There is no excuse not to have an adorable outfit for class, even on your laziest days. This outfit is a perfect example of what you can wear to class and it is definitely in the budget for a college student. The turquoise colored dress is $15 from Target, the leopard pumps that I absolutely adore were only $7 on sale at Windsor, and the earrings were also on sale for $1.99 at Icing!

I adore seeing new trends and incorporating them into my own style, and I have gotten a lot of great feedback from friends and others on campus on the way I dress. It all has to do with the way you shop and pair pieces together. Look for deals; they will be your best friend in college! You can find some of the cutest pieces on sales racks and pair them with old pieces you may have in your closet to create a whole new outfit.

I buy most of my clothes from Forever 21 (one of my favorite stores!) and I get a lot of pieces from Goodwill and use the fabrics to turn them into headbands or high-waisted shorts.

This outfit is a perfect example of how to pair new pieces with old ones to create something new and fabulous! I bought the black maxi skirt from Target for $15 and my shoes from Forever 21 for $34 and had them both in my closet for a while before I wore them frequently. Then, I bought the white crop top from Charlotte Russe for $15, the leopard print blazer from Forever 21, and the earrings from Icing. One day I wanted to try something new and came up with this beautiful ensemble, so I know that all you fashion lovers out there can do it too!

Fashion is an outlet to show your personality, creativity, and style so make sure you always flaunt it!

Don’t be afraid to be creative with your style and show the world what you got. Make your statement!

Celisa definitely has incredible style! Thanks for showing us how to look great without dropping bundles on clothing. Now we expect every college student to pack up those sweat pants and take a page from Celisa’s book. Play with different types of looks, and put together new combinations daily. Look great, feel great!
