Arizona has just become 100 times more fashionable. Scottsdale Quarter has welcomed high- end retailer, Intermix to their outdoor shopping center. On Wednesday August 27th,Intermix opened their doors to the community hosting a spectacular grand opening event.
Nutritious next-door neighbor, True Food Kitchen catered the event while Chandon sparkling wine was served to the guests. Local DJ, Soloman created a hip ambiance spinning beats by Disclosure and Miike Snow. Prominent media and fashionistas from the valley filed in the door non-stop, while people admired the latest and greatest pieces from the Fall 2014 collection. Ten percent of the proceeds from the event went to the Children’s Museum of Phoenix.
Intermix originated in New York City and is well known for its e-commerce platform. There are over 35 locations in the United States and each boutique reflects the style and culture of its surrounding environment. Intermix carries an assortment of reputable designers such as Stella McCartney, Proenza Schouler, Rag & Bone, and Helmut Lang. The multi-platform retailer has been a Gap -owned brand for the past two years.
The interior design of the store has a very clean streamline appeal. With a combination of light and dark woods, stainless steel accents, and thoughtfully placed lighting, the detail of the clothing makes a bold statement.
It’s exciting to see such prestigious brands come to the valley. It puts Phoenix on map for more major fashion opportunities to come our way. We look forward to getting to know people in the community that are as passionate about expanding the fashion scene in Phoenix as we are!
