Each year for Phoenix Fashion Week, our team highlights the best fashion on the runway. But, what you don’t usually get to see, is all the incredible people sitting in the AUDIENCE. We wanted to change that, so we’ve partnered with Phoenix Fashion Week to highlight a few of the VIPs that will be sitting Front Row this year at the runway shows. Get to know the movers and shakers of the local fashion scene as they talk about what they are most looking forward to at Phoenix Fashion Week 2016.

Get to Know Phillip Westbrooks

Phillip Westbrooks is the president and CEO of Spectrum Solutions, and a long-term supporter of Phoenix Fashion Week. Phillip is known for his stylish looks on and off the red carpet, and his wicked smart business sense to match. When he’s not working, Phillip is serving his local community to make Arizona an all around better place.

CitS: What makes Phoenix fashion week a must must attend event for you?

PW: Phoenix fashion week is exciting! The energy is buzzing. Phoenix Fashion Week has a variety of fashion, entertainment, and music. There’s also a variety of vendors that sell clothes, accessories, and other items that you can buy right there on the spot. A Variety of designers are there with unique fashion options. There’s something for everyone.

But, what really makes fashion week special is the people! The people that attend Phoenix Fashion Week are ecstatic and appreciative of the fashion and quality event that Phoenix Fashion Week presents. Each year the crowd gets bigger and each year the event gets better!

CitS: What are you looking forward to the most about Phoenix Fashion Week this year?

PW: I’m excited to see some new local, national and international designers. But I am most excited about the surprise that I know I will see at Phoenix Fashion Week. Each year, the Phoenix Fashion Week team does something new and unique! I’m excited to see what that will be this year.

CitS: Can you give us an idea of what you will be wearing?

PW: At Phoenix Fashion Week, you have to bring your best fashion game. I haven’t decided what I’ll be wearing yet, but it will be something classy, elegant and with a little edge.

CitS: Do you have any early favorites for designer of the year?

PW: Every year the designers impress me with their creativity, quality and uniqueness. I don’t have an early favorite because the competition is very tight. I’m excited to see how the designers will express and share their fashion passion!
