I’ve been sitting at my desk for about 20 minutes now trying to decide what to say about myself, and I’m finding it intimidating to sum up my life in a few hundred words. Luckily, I’ll be contributing to the site on a monthly basis, so you can get to know me through my writing in addition to this post. (I’m also thrilled to get to know all of you, the readers!)

My name is Taylor Seely. I’m 20 years old, study journalism at Arizona State University, teach at a dance studio in North Scottsdale and have so much passion for life.

I live in downtown Phoenix, one of the cutest local communities ever with my best friend, Maryssa, and my boyfriend, Spencer. You could say we’re high school sweet hearts, but technically we met in seventh grade! We’re hoping to get a dog in the next couple years, and while we desperately want a corgi, we plan to rescue whatever adorable creature is available.

I tend to write about food and fashion, but being a firm believer in women’s empowerment, I plan to expand my skills at Couture in the Suburbs by highlighting inspirational female leaders here locally. Shout out to all my girl bosses!

I believe it’s every woman’s duty to lift one another up and challenge each other to constantly improve, which is why I’m so excited to be a part of this team. Couture in the Suburbs is truly an embodiment of my life’s mission statement.

For more about me, visit my personal blog, Dash of Daisy.

Until next time –

X’s and O’s,

Taylor
