Tis the season for gift shopping! This year, make your gifts a little more special by shopping local. There’s something that sets apart a handmade piece from the rest, and that effect is compounded when you have a chance to meet the artisan behind the product.
Jackalope Art & Craft Fair Phoenix is seeking to do just that. After successful shows in Denver and Pasadena, Jackalope wanted to give Phoenicians a chance to meet the makers who live in their community. Shoppers can expect to find trendsetting indie goods from original fashion and jewelry designs, ceramics and paper goods, innovative home decor and housewares, art and photography, and much more.
I had the honor of being one of the first jurrors for Phoenix’s division of this art & craft fair (Read more about that here). It was so fun to look through all the incredible local artisans we have here in town. I couldn’t help but pick a few favorites to share with you all.
