It is officially holiday crunch time. While some people have all their gifts nicely wrapped and tucked under the tree, there are others amongst us who are in a frenzy searching for the perfect gift for everyone on their list.
If you’re at all like our team here at Couture in the Suburbs, you still have 1 or 2 (or 10) gifts to find. We are hoping to make it a tad bit easier for you this holiday season by highlighting the products each one of our team members is obsessed with this holiday season.

Lexi’s Pick:
Essence Bakery Macarons, Espresso + Vanilla Bean – $3.15 / macaron
The macarons at Essence are incredible. They’re unexpectedly dense, while still embodying the perfect airiness you’d prefer when eating something so sweet. Their espresso macaron is my favorite, full of true espresso flavor with just the right amount of sugar to curb my sweet tooth. Magnifique!
Get these delicious treats at Essence Bakery in Tempe or Arcadia or online at EssenceBakery.com.

1820 House No.15 Holiday Collection Candle, Cassia + Cranberry – $21.95
1820 House never disappoints with their everlasting unique scents. This particular holiday candle expels the fresh fragrance of natural clove, cassia bark and tart cranberries making my entire apartment smell festive and inviting.

“Cozy Warm” Holiday Card by Little Low – $4.50
The cute card quotient skyrockets during the holidays, and therefore makes for an excellent time for a handwritten note to someone you care about. Unglued’s collection is one of my favorites because it features a great range of moods and aesthetics. It’s time to bust out your red and green pens!
To buy this card for your loved one, visit Unglued in Sioux Falls or visit LittleLow.com.

Trader Joe’s Seasonal Pumpkin Bread and Muffin Mix – $9.39
My grandma makes the best pumpkin bread known to mankind, but let’s just be honest here – she’s got a little more time than I do. As much as I’d love to make some homemade bread from scratch, between school and work and blogging, it’s just not going to happen. This box, though, is the CLOSEST thing to it – and it’s so, so easy to make. A little tip – I bake it 25 degrees less than what it says on the box to make it a little more moist. For my health nuts out there – switch the oil with a single cup of apple sauce. It’s a slightly different texture but good nonetheless. Also, adding cream cheese frosting to is ridiculously delicious.
To get your Pumpkin bread fix, visit Trader Joe’s or add it to your ever-growing cart on Amazon.

L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara – $7.99
After receiving a makeover at Rouge NYC, I was referred to this mascara and have now been obsessing over it ever since. It glides on perfectly (no clumping!) and is still inexpensive. It’s perfect to make your lashes pop at all your holiday parties and it makes a great stocking stuffer.
Pick up this great gift for yourself, or a friend, at your local drugstore or online at Ulta.com.
