Pamper and Play at High Street

Walking into High Street is like being transported out of Arizona and into a big city like Chicago, or Seattle. This new destination off the 101 and Tatum is an urbanite’s dream. With tall buildings, awesome local businesses and gorgeous living spaces, there’s nothing not to like!

When I took a trip to High Street to get a complimentary facial at Fuchsia Spa, I was amazed at just how many incredible beauty destinations there were in this urban oasis. I immediately thought how fun it would be to get the girls together for a day of pampering followed by a night of dinner, drinks and live music at one of the several amazing restaurants. So, I wanted to make it easy for you (and for me and my friends) to plan a little girl’s getaway.

Hair – Primp and Blow

First of all, if you’ve never had your hair blown at a dry bar, you are seriously missing out! To me, it’s the ultimate luxury to have someone shampoo and style your hair. And, I never get more compliments than after a fresh blow out. I love that the Primp and Blow stylists listen to how I like to wear my hair, and then are able to take it up a notch. Be sure to sign up for their newsletter to receive special offers and coupons as well!

Skin – Fuchsia Spa

I can’t even begin to describe how incredible my experience at Fuchsia Spa was. First off, the environment is absolutely beautiful. The modern aesthetic paired with girly details is right up my alley. I also love the fact that the spa carries several organic product lines that are available to purchase, as well as used in the treatment. One of my favorite parts of the whole facial though, was the fact that you get to choose your music! Each room has a custom system that lets you play whatever you want to hear. Sure, that spa music might be relaxing for some, but I chose to go with a more modern mix of Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson.
