Phoenix Fashion Week – Day 3

The fashion fun continued with Day 3 of Phoenix Fashion Week at Talking Stick Resort. After all the frenzy from Fashionably Pink and Day 2, we couldn’t wait to see what Friday night’s designers had in store! Some shows had us ooo-ing and ahh-ing, and the others…well, we’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

JOI started off the night. This show was the epitome of effortless chic. With easy fabrics and flattering cuts, Jewel Oribe gives ladies the street wear they want! Chunky wedges and oversized sunglasses took the looks to runway level.

Next was the menswear pieces from Madison Park Collective. From camo to pastels, Madison Park featured looks for a variety of men. The styling of the show really kicked the simple pieces up a knotch. Guys should take note of this easy, everyday look.

Eye Thread was the first of the emerging designers (surely you know them all by now… but if not, we’ll list them for you here). This line had patterns, studs, and great construction! And we have to mention those bags! The studded handle on the clutches make them super functional and oh so chic! Love.

Then came JHaus, whose show started off with an awesome surprise- a rockin’ electric violin player. The crowd went insane, and with good reason! This girl could really play! The fashions that followed definitely didn’t disappoint. The colored denim was fabulous, the lace tops were gorgeous, and the gowns were DIVINE.

Paulie Gibson continued the show with his loud, vibrant looks. This line is definitely a look-at-me style with metallics, animal print, and bright colors. We’re not sure how many  men would wear these pieces, but we’re going to recommend skipping this “trend” boys.

The emerging designers portion of the show finished with Sew Twisted. This show was a little underwhelming, but the first and last look managed to somewhat peak our interest. The construction of these looks was less than fabulous, so we are “sew” passing on these designs.

Jean Paul Jeune started his show with some fierce formal wear. 70’s style casual looks were next, followed by some fierce female looks. The models looked absolutely fantastic in these outfits (we might have had to wipe some drool off our chin when the men came out…)

The finale show was the incredibly talented Silvia Bours, an emerging designer from last year’s Phoenix Fashion Week who captured the heart of the crowd. Words cannot describe the gorgeous detailing on these dresses. Silvia’s line is the epitome of princess perfection. Lace, tulle, rhinestones, and bows… we couldn’t get enough! Absolutely flawless.

Day 3 of Phoenix Fashion Week was obviously an interesting night of shows! There’s one more night of designs, and we cannot wait to see more looks. Until then fashionistas, XoXo
