Phoenix Fashion Week Day 4

Phoenix Fashion Week at Talking Stick Resort wrapped up Saturday night with some gorgeous shows! From day wear, to wedding gowns, to an epic finale show by a celebrity-worn designer, the last night of Phoenix Fashion Week Day 4 was so fun and totally fabulous.

Fashionably Pink, Day 2, and Day 3 were all so entertaining, we couldn’t wait to see what the final day designers had to offer. SJ Couture started off the show with her bridal gowns. These dresses were soft and feminine, perfect for the graceful bride getting ready to walk down the aisle.

The show continued with looks from Bel Kazan. Flowing tribal prints and bright colors gave the line a breezy island feel. The looks were toughened up with some well-placed black and gold zippers. This is a great collection for the busy girl on the go who still wants to feel beautiful.

Enzoani was next, featuring formal looks in an array of colors. The lace detailing and beading really put this line over the edge. Keep this designer in mind for bridesmaids and special occasion dresses.

Bri Seeley started off the emerging designers section for the last night of Phoenix Fashion Week. Her flowing tops and structured skirts were perfect for day-to-night transitions. The long sheer skirts were youthful, fresh, and vibrant. Adore.

Envy by Khanh hit the runway next. This line was designed for the girl who wants the spotlight- skin tight, cutouts, and color! These body-con dresses let the models strut their stuff and really flaunt it.

Italia Rocks Couture continued the show. These gowns featured lots, and lots, and LOTS of details. Feathers, flowers, rhinestones and more were added to every design. The looks reflected the designer’s personal aesthetic, but it was a bit too much for these fashion bloggers.

Suzanne Lay was the last of the 2012 emerging designers. Her pieces were simple and effortless. We mostly loved the mustard yellow and black looks. The vests were also fab, particularly the burnt orange one in the photo below.

Menswear rocked the runway next, with designs from Elevee. The plaid suits, pastels, and formal looks were total perfection. And by the way, the fit was absolutely spot on. We fully understand why so many male sports stars like Dwight Howard, Aaron Rodgers, and Kevin Durant can’t get enough of this line!

The finale show was by Dubai designer, Furne One. This designer’s looks have been seen on celebrities like Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj. This show was theatrical, daring, and breathtaking! The detailing and craftmanship was out of this world. Every single look was PERFECT.

PHXFW director, Brian Hill, basically summed up our feelings when he said that this designer took Phoenix Fashion Week to the next level. Bravo Furne One, Bravo.

And we can’t forget to mention the fabulous winners of the night. CONGRATULATIONS to Bri Seeley for winning the 2012 emerging designer competition. You definitely deserve it girl! Another big CONGRATS to the gorgeous Madison Brown, winner of the Smartwater Model of the Year competition! You’ve been our favorite since the beginning.

We had an awesome time  at Phoenix Fashion Week 2012. Couture in the Suburbs was so thrilled to be a part of all the runway magic! We’re looking forward to seeing how the emerging designers and models continue their journeys to the top of the fashion world. Until next time Phoenix Fashion Week! XoXo Couture in the Suburbs
