Something old, something new; either way clothes are clothes, and we love ’em, but who doesn’t right? And what better way to spend a Sunday then to go to the Phoenix clothing swap put on by the fabulous CO-OPhx, where cute spring fashion is everywhere you look. Dresses, shorts, tanks, shoes, accessories, you name it, it’ll be at clothing swap!

(Remember how much fun we had at the Tempe Spring Clothing Swap? Check out our story recap here)

This swap will be held in the heart of Roosevelt Row in the front yards of GROWOp, Annie Boomer Vintage and Cellar Door Vintage (902 N. 6th St, Phoenix, Az 85004) on Sunday April 21, 2013 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. and will be featuring items from fashionistas all around Arizona. (Such as this great spring floral print dress I’m bringing!)

This dress is fairly new and works well for spring or fall. It’s comfortable and lose fitting but also gives you a defined waist. I love the orange and yellow floral pattern and beautiful lace back.

I absolutely adore this dress and am only donating it because, as a  woman who reaches 6ft tall, it’s a tad short (no sympathy though, I embrace that height).  I have gotten so many compliments when wearing this dress, especially when I worked at a clothing store. I love mixing and matching different shoes and accessories with this and hope anther girl will get a lot of use out of it too.

This clothing swap will be similar to the one we previously attended, but will be in Phoenix instead of Tempe, and will have some different activites as well. Just like last time, guests are permitted to bring up to ten items including shoes, clothes, and accessories to swap and an unlimited amount to donate. This time, you want to make sure you purchase tickets. They are either $10 online or $15 at the door (Personally, I would buy mine online and use the extra $5 on a drink at Starbucks).

Visit THIS WEBSITE to purchase your tickets for Sunday!

In addition to the swap, there will be several key speakers giving amazing fashion tips. Joshua Hahn, co-founder of GROWop boutique will be teaching print-mixing for men. Ashley Eaton, owner of Merry May Shoppe will be sharing her vintage tips & tricks. Our MIM Rocks Fashion favorite, Amir Saebi, owner of Amir’s La Voute will be showing the guys how to rock a bow-tie (please learn this guys! It’s a look we really love). And, Lindsey and Coley, co-founders of Junk in the Trunk Vintage Market will be giving tips on how to decorate with vintage. With a line up like this, a $10 price tag is nothing! All this talent in one place giving you advice on fashion trends….Going to clothing swap on Sunday is a no brainer.

This swap is particularly focused on helping others in need. At past clothing swaps, there have been roughly 500 swappers and over 2,000 pounds of items donated to ClothingCycle, a non-profit organization that recycles or reuses 100 percent of items regardless of condition. It would be amazing if we could out do those numbers on Sunday! We know if you come, you’ll have an awesome time. Clothing  swaps are a great way to meet new people, update your wardrobe and help those less fortunate.

Hope to see you Sunday!
