The Limited – Not your Mother’s Store

The Limited Scottsdale Couture in the Suburbs

When The Limited approached Couture in the Suburbs about visiting their newly remodeled store and styling two looks for fall, I wasn’t exactly sure what I was going to put together. Typically, The Limited has been a store for a more professional woman in the middle of her high powered career, with a steady supply of looks to transition from the office to cocktail hour.

But this is no longer your mother’s store.

Although there are still amazing career basics ( perfect internship clothes!), there are also a ton of great casual pieces for college students and younger girls who want to look more relaxed than professional.

The Limited Scottsdale Fashion Square

Now is the perfect time to head down to the gorgeous new Scottsdale Fashion Square location and check out the arrangement of sweaters, skirts, and scarves (oh my!) to build your cool weather wardrobe.

There are so many gorgeous colors available, with opportunities to mix and match colors and textures. (Plus there are insane sales going on for their 50th anniversary).

And if you are totally overwhelmed by the wide variety of choices, the incredibly helpful sales staff will help you put together outfits and accessorize your favorite pieces. I was pleasantly surprised when I went into my fitting room to see extra tops, necklaces, and leggings to compliment the pieces I pulled to try on.

And when I needed another size, I was able to push a convenient button in the fitting room to call a salesperson instead of stepping out into the store in ill fitting clothing. Major plus that totally enhanced my shopping experience.

I opted for chunky knit sweaters and boyfriend jeans, two of my favorite items for fall. I liked the relaxed fit and interesting details of these two sweaters.. and ohmygod are the jeans comfy!

This sweater poncho is absolutely amazing. I love the shape and the cute button details on the side. Not to mention, it’s easy to move the neckline to make it a little dressier if I wear it at work.

And where do I even begin with the leather trimmed zipper sweater…. it’s perfection. I immediately decided I would dress it up with some classic black pumps and a black leather clutch to create a perfect tough, but chic vibe. And the pink hair totally compliments it.

Absolutely beaming in my new outfits from The Limited. Like I said ladies, this is no longer your mother’s store (even though there is stuff she would love to rock as well… there’s enough to go around!).

Make sure you go check out The Limited now that our weather is finally starting to cool down.  I know you will have an amazing experience.

Thank you to The Limited for sponsoring this blog post.
