You may not be familiar with the name Gianfranco Ferré…. but you should be. This Italian fashion designer revolutionized the modern woman’s work wardrobe with his interpretation of The White Shirt. Through his namesake fashion house and as the creative director of Christian Dior from 1989 to 1987, this powerful fashion figure revolutionized the way we dress today.

The internationally acclaimed exhibition celebrating this designer, The White Shirt According to Me. Gianfranco Ferré, makes its United States debut at Phoenix Art Museum on November 4, 2015. And, to kick off the exhibit, Phoenix Art Museum is flying in some of the biggest names in Italian Fashion to speak at The Italian Master of Fashion Symposium.

Participate in a lively discussion about the legendary Italian fashion designer, Gianfranco Ferré, with leading fashion experts including: Clarissa Burt (Model), Tatiana Sorokko (Model), Ralph Rucci (Designer), Denise Hale (Friend and client), Rita Airaghi (Director of Fondazione Gianfranco Ferré), and Alessandra Arezzi Boza (Curator).

If you’re at all interested in fashion, this event on October 31st is not to be missed. Tickets are $60 ($20 for Students), and include access to a banquet reception where you can mingle with the panelists. You can buy your tickets here.
