Tucson Fashion Week always does a wonderful job of attracting a star-studded line up for their interesting and unique fashion week. Last year, we had had the privilege of seeing and interviewing Betsey Johnson herself at the fashion week down south (See the Story Here). Unfortunately, our team was unable to attend Tucson Fashion Week this year, but we wanted to make sure that you, dear reader, didn’t have to miss out.

We teamed up with Tucson Fashion Week and Vickie Lan Photography to bring you photos from throughout the week. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!

“The event brought together creative people from all levels of the fashion industry for four days of outstanding fashionable experiences, showcasing the work of emerging talent, industry experts, icons, artists and more. Creative directors Paula Taylor and Melanie Sutton have created a world class event that Tucson can be very proud of – attracting major industry talents as well as an ever growing list of attendees.”

“This high-energy evening, hosted by Film Tucson, opened with a spectacular, costume collection from Costume Designer / former UA School of Theatre Dept. Chair, Al Tucci; followed by the works of three emerging Project Arizona designers. A presentation from TFW Founder Elizabeth Denneau’s CandyStrike collection was also on display throughout the evening.”

“The star studded evening concluded with an exhilarating Project Runway Showcase with special emcee, Tucson’s own Heidi Klum “Fashionista”, Camerone Parker. The show featured the works of five Project Runway/Project Runway All-Star designers including Bert Keeter, Korto Momolu, Daniel Esquivel, Mila Hermanovski, and Peach Carr.  Many of the designer items featured in this show were available for purchase the following day at the Project Runway Sip & Shop exclusive brunch and sale at the Playground Bar & Lounge rooftop.”
