Two Words: All. Natural.

Obviously I’m not talking about the look, but I am talking about the products. What does that mean? It means every product used on my face is completely free of harmful chemicals and damaging products that negatively affect our bodies. Out with Chanel, Armani, and MAC, there are new must-haves in town, and I’m here to share them with you.

Where do you find these magical products? Citrine Natural Beauty Bar at the Biltmore has every natural and organic face product your heart desires. They’re in the process of moving to a new building right across from their current location in the Union Shops, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely gorgeous! If you want the full experience of a gorgeous environment, beautiful and kind people working with you, and exceptional products, Citrine is for you.

If you’re not located in Phoenix, don’t worry, you can still participate in all of the natural, guilt-free makeup fun. Citrine color matches and suggests products for people all over the world. All you need to do is email them a few pictures of your skin, explain your skin type and expectations for your skincare and makeup, and they will take care of the rest!

Citrine also has a very active Periscope account. Follow them for product information, makeup tutorials and more!

In this post, I wanted to show you how natural makeup can look just as good (honestly, better) than other makeup. When I originally heard the word “natural” before makeup, I thought, “Nope. Not interested.” In my mind I associated “natural” with barely-there, less-than-flawless makeup that looks like chalk on my face, because that was my previous experience.

However, once the Citrine products were on my skin, I absolutely fell in love… And went on an excessive shopping spree for all of the products on the following Saturday. I’m not sorry.

On the Citrine website, you will find some looks the girls at Citrine have created. From those looks, we chose to demonstrate the “Marilyn.” Below you will find all of the products and specifics Citrine owner, Melissa Lenberg, used to create this look. Get ready to fall head over heels in love with natural makeup.
