I’ve moved around a lot, changed my style even more, and firmly decided and then changed what I want to do in life more times than I can count, but there is one thing that has always stayed constant: I love fashion.
While I’ve gone back and forth deciding how to involve fashion in my life—as a career, just a hobby, or somewhere in between, I’ve picked up a few things. Not just the collection of clothes far too big for my cramped closet, too many uncomfortable but utterly gorgeous high heels, and about 3000 pins on Pinterest, but everything the fashion world has to offer.
Today, I can be found checking out local boutiques and restaurants, not only to consume goods, but to really experience the atmosphere. I love Black Friday shopping not only for the killer deals, but the excitement and, to be frank, the craziness that surrounds Fashion Square at 4 o’clock in the morning.
This pursuit has led me to the next step in my fashionista journey—Couture in the Suburbs. Working with people who encourage me to go out and really experience the city, and explore the fashion, culture, and beauty it has to offer, and then write about it is incredible. Also I really enjoy shopping, eating, drinking coffee, and talking to people, so there aren’t any downsides.
