The Smart Blondes Recap Phoenix Fashion Week

You may remember The Smart Blondes from our Phoenix Fashion Week Front Row Series post (if not, check it out here). This dynamic duo is having fun with fashion, and showing the world that being different is a very beautiful thing.

We were so excited to see what these gorgeous girls would be wearing on the red carpet at Couture Night of Phoenix Fashion Week, and let us just say, they did not disappoint. Their all white ensembles from SJ Couture made such a beautiful statement, and don’t even get us started on the feathers!

The twins also wanted to share a few of their highlights from the event with you all. Hope you enjoy!

Hi dolls! #SB had the privilege of sitting front row for PHXFW 2016 for couture night and it’s time to dish on the deets of the show.

The night kicked off with an amazing performance by Yasmeen debuting her new single “selfish.” Strong vocals and great stage presence. Talk about girl power! She’s also our featured #StyleUnicorn for the month of November which you can check out at Smart-blondes.com/unicorns. Me-Ow!

Speaking of music, the song choices for each collection were bomb, something that we look for as an overall showcase for each designer. We believe it is about the experience just as much as it is about the fashion, and the music sets the tone.

We also have to give major props to Designer of the Year, Barbara Bultman. Her collection was feminine and glamorous with an edge. The sparkles in her showcase that a few of the models carried added a playful touch to the fierce struts down the runway. Congrats Barbara!

In closing, we loved Cosmogyrl for representing plus size beauties. It was everything! Showcasing women of all shapes is right up our Unicorn alley! #Empowerment
